THE BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE GREAT TRAVELS BETWEEN ‘800 AND ‘900

Exhibition of volumes concerning great voyages and explorations made from the early 19th century up to the end of the 1930’s, about travels to Asian and Africa. Vintage editions of voyages by Livingstone, Stanley, Sven Hedin, Mouhot, Francis Garnier, Speke, Burton, Batoli, Bianchi, Scidmore, Bottego and many others who entered to the top list of those who defied death to complete enterprises for understanding the world that had remained unknown until that time. This travel books include very rare books, some volumes are considered extremely valuable, since the owner is required to be present during the exhibitions. This exhibition can be put aside together with pictures about discovered places like Angkor, Borobudur, Pagan, My Son, and other historical locations belonging to UNESCO. The exhibitions can also include vintage videos about Angkor discovery and preservation. About 50 to 60 exposed volumes can be accompanied by full-scale pictures of the most famous explorers themselves, to take people back in time to the past as if they were present at the time of those voyagers.
